I haven’t written a blog in a while. The truth is I’ve been so overwhelmed with what’s happening throughout the world and the USA that I needed to think about it for a while.

I have so many questions:

Is Japan, just the beginning? Will it spread radiation throughout the world through the dumping of radioactive water into the Ocean or will the winds carry enough here (although the authorities say we are safe) to infect out water, crops and wildlife? Will we inspect our own nuclear plants to make sure they are safe? Iran has nuclear energy and so do India, Pakistan, China and North Korea. Do you think we are really safe when countries like these have nuclear plants?

Will the Middle Eastern countries need more than UN protection? Through polices and politics most, of us don’t understand, will we end up in more wars. We are already fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, how many more wars do we need to be in and how many young men and women have to die?

How much money are we spending developing weapons? I bet it is in the billions.

Why do we have to cut education, teachers and social programs to support our oversea actions? The money we spend on military defense and war could feed every starving child and heal and educate children throughout the USA. Can’t we use that money to rebuild our highways and bridges?

Why are so many cities and towns in this once great country controlled by gangs, drug dealers and corrupt politicians?

How did we allow idiots to run this country? When did we loose the vote? Is big business our ally or enemy? I think we all know the answer to that.

Is it really important that we have a space program and spend that kind of money when it could be used to fund the cure for so many diseases?

With a country filled with so much talent and geniuses, why haven’t we developed a car that can get 150 miles per gallon or run on water or a computer chip?

Will mediocrity, which has been the dominant factor in arts and music in this country for over 60 years, continue or will the American people finally wake up?

Has the dumbing down of everything become a permanent fixture in this country?

If the children are the future of this country, why are they mistreated and abused by so many adults?

Starvation, lack of education and jobs are the main cause of violence. We’ve all been told this for many years and for so many years our government has done nothing to change it. Chicago has the highest number of children murdered and Detroit is the winner when it comes to murders. Why do we allow the NRA to control the flow of guns and the gun laws? Isn’t it time we take away all guns. This is not the 1600’s when we had to hunt for our food or protect our homes and property. There is no reason to own a gun. It was in the constitution because of the times our forefathers lived in. If they could have seen the future, they would have worded it differently.

I personally believe there is so much bad stuff happening throughout the world that the Earth is inhaling the negativity and the Earth is fighting back. It has had enough.

When will we say that too?
